Nifty is critically poised, avoid long term calls for now.

Critically poise

After opening in the green, market made steady inroads into the positive territory in the ensuing hours led by sustained buying activity across index heavyweights. This ensured that Nifty closed well in green with a gain of more than 150 points. Gains were largely seen in realty, metal and banking stocks. Technically Nifty is critically poised, as after today move Nifty has successfully surpassed the hurdle of 50-DEMA, but one more barrier of 61.8% retracement is still pending. So, unless Nifty clear 61.8% packed near 5295, ball can be in anyone's court, either bulls or bears.

Trading Ideas

  • Remain stock specific from current levels.
  • Mid term trading ideas which we like are Sesa Goa (Target Rs435)Suzlon (Target Rs78)Dena Bank (Target Rs98) and Century Textile (Target Rs530). Traders maintain stop loss accordingly.
