TVS Motor Company Ltd
Total sales was up by 5.8% YoY to 107,301units( ahead of expectations). It registered 10.4% YoY decline in motorcycle sales to 46,408 units (below expectation). Other two wheeler sales up by 19.5% YoY to 69,400 units (much ahead of expectation). Export sales were declined by 32.8% YoY to 10,087 units
Mahindra & Mahindra ltd
Total UV sales increased by 56.1% YoY to 17,653 units (much ahead of expectation). M&M sold 2579 units of XYLO and 3505 units of Scorpio. 3 wheeler sales declined by 22.7% YoY to 3,357 units (below expectation). Total tractor sales, excluding the sales of Punjab Tractors of 4676 units (post the merger wef August 2008 increased by 18% YoY (much ahead of expectation).
Maruti Suzuki India Ltd
Total sales increased by 22.16 YoY to 75,109 units (ahead of our expectation). Domestic sales grew by 9.5% YoY to 61,583 units (in line). Exports volume increased by 175.8% YoY to 13,336 units (significantly ahead of our expectation).
Tata Motors Ltd
Total sales declined by 3.9% YoY to 45,399 units. M&HCVs sales declined by 22.5% YoY to 9,949 units. LCVs sales increased by 16.5% YoY to 16,256 units. Total domestic sales declined by 1.3% YoY to 43,244 units. Export sales declined by 37.2% YoY to 2,155 units.
