Interest Rates on Exim Bank Term Deposit Scheme have been revised and the following rates will be applicable with effect from may 21,2009 till further instructions.
Period (months) Upto & inclusive of Rs one crore Above Rs. 1 crore. 12--24 7.25% p.a. 5.50% 25--60 8.25% p.a 6.00%
Senior Citizens and physically challenged persons are eligible for additional interest at 0.50% p.a for 12-60 months deposits.
The above rates are applicable only for Individual, NRIs (on non-repatriable basis), who are citizens of india, HUFs,PF/Superannuation Fund Trust, Army Group Insurance and Army / Defence regiment Funds, IIMs, IITs.
These rates are applicable for deposit where cheques are realized on or after May 21, 2009. Multiple applications in the same name will be considered as single application for the purpose of interest payment.
